We believe that advice(s) offered at this time, will address any property transaction difficulties likely to arise during the currency of your house purchase.

Wills

We cannot emphasise enough, the importance of making a Will. By doing so, you can ensure that your wishes are carried out and you can also lessen the general anxiety experienced by your family and friends after death.

We understand the sensitivity involved and are happy to attend at your home, should you wish. We will take time with you to allow you to consider all your options when preparing your Will.

We are happy to advise you on any potential tax difficulties - especially inheritance tax, and any other taxes we feel should be considered.
In you wish to make provision for family members who are disadvantaged in any way, we are happy to advise further on their protection. You can consider, for example the use of a Trust.

Family Matters

We have extensive experience with family matters. Difficulty within the family, be it matrimonial, financial or involving children will create stress for both adults and children. The Priority in these matters is to try and resolve such difficulties initially by way of mediation; we believe this can benefit all parties.

If required however, we can assist by taking matters to court on your behalf in respect of residence or contact with your children; separation or divorce; matrimonial property involving occupation and ownership of the family home.

It some instances it is possible to obtain Legal Aid in this matter. Alternatively we will be happy to provide you with a quotation of possible cost(s) and we will enter into an arrangement in this regard.

Criminal Matters

if they are to be interviewed by police or have been arrested, we can provide you with the necessary legal services. We are available 24 hours a day and can be contacted by the police if difficulties arise outside office hours. It is important to note that legal advice and assistance is available at the outset and if you have been detained at a police station free Legal Aid is available.
